what happened to [Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau???????????????????????????????????????????|http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jacques_Clouseau&redirect=no] I would have liked to include Inspector Bucket from Bleak House, fiction's first detective. That line of his "Sir Leicester Dedlock ... Baronet" always makes me laugh. Sadly there wasn't enough room for him what with these other deductive legends.
