Good morning! Wikia is launching wiki blog articles today. Wiki blogs are a new type of article that have a single author and can be voted and commented on. Some examples of how we expect Wikia communities to use these are fan fiction, personal opinion articles, community announcements, Top 10 Lists, Q&A, etc. Naturally, how all this is used comes under your own wiki policies, so it's up to the community what people are allowed to write about. In addition, the update introduces a new banner on user-related pages that includes an avatar and user links.

You can learn more about how to use blogs on your Wiki at Help:Blog article.

You are one of the first wikis to see this feature... as you try it out, we want your feedback! We'd love to know how we can improve it for you :)

I don't know about the blue box with the category links. It looks...ugly and out of place. Even a white box instead would be better. The 888th Avatar ^(Talk) 14:29, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

Hi guys. Just wondering, would it be possible to add my wiki The Sabrina The Teenage Witch Wiki onto the mainpage under the heading "New Wiki's". It is a brand new wiki, made May 8 2009, and already has 105 articles. I just really need some contributors and I think this would be a good way to get help.

Hello. I'm not sure if this is the place for it, but I would like to request Phineas and Ferb Wiki for a spot on the Featured Wikis list. It currently has over 500 pages, is actively edited, updated with new info, etc. It would be great if it was featured on here. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is the wrong place. I don't think the Entertainment helpers and staff really accept requests like this, Flash. The wikis that are featured are generally there because they've recently received new material (new film etc.) and are expected to be highly popular. In the main list on this page it breaks down the Wikis by "pages", however within the comments it says "articles". Since the statistics page differentiates these two numbers, the article should be updated. --Jabrwocky7 02:33, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

I think A Wheel of Time Wiki should be a featured wiki since the newest book comes out on October 27. It's a big deal because a new writer(Brandon Sanderson) is writing the series because Robert Jordan passed away.--OPTIMOUS 19:30, October 9, 2009 (UTC)

Is it possible for someone to have their own personal wiki? If someone watches a television show or movie, and they want to create their own fan story to go along with it, could they make a wiki just for their fan fiction?

I'm looking at the huge list of entertainment wikis and I noticed that there's no Pokemon wiki in sight. So what gives?
