	Fringe	Premiere: September 9, 2008 on Fox Fringe is a television series created by J. J. Abrams, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman. The show starts off when a flight lands at the airport and there are no signs of life, FBI Agent Olivia Dunham, scientist Walter Bishop, and his son Peter uncover a series of mysteries involving a plague and a series of unbelievable events.
	Knight Rider	Premiere: September 24, 2008 on NBC Knight Rider is a revival series of the 1980s television series with the same name. It stars Justin Bruening, Deanna Russo, Bruce Davison, Sydney Tamiia Poitier, David Hasselhoff, and Val Kilmer.
	Life on Mars	Premiere: October 9, 2008 on ABC Life on Mars is an American version of the BBC series of the same name. It stars Jason O'Mara, Harvey Keitel, Jonathan Murphy, Michael Imperioli, and Gretchen Mol.
	Pushing Daisies	Premiere: October 1, 2008 on ABC As a "forensic fairy tale", Pushing Daisies is about a pie-maker who has the power to bring the dead back to life.
	Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles	Premiere: September 8, 2008 on Fox Spinning off from the Terminator series of films, The Sarah Connor Chronicles revolves around the lives of Sarah and John Connor, following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

It was created by Rob Thomas and stars Rob Estes, Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, AnnaLynne McCord, Dustin Milligan, Ryan Eggold, Jessica Stroup, Michael Steger, Lori Loughlin, Jessica Walter, Jennie Garth, and returning star, Shannen Doherty.
	Batman: The Brave and the Bold	Premiere: November 14, 2008 on Cartoon Network Batman: The Brave and the Bold is an animated television series based on the comic book series of the same name, the series will have Batman team-up with several other DC Comics heroes. The heroes on the show include Aquaman, The Flash, and Green Lantern, among others.
	Dollhouse	Premiere: February 13th, 2009 on Fox Dollhouse is a television series created by Joss Whedon, the "dolls" have had their personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas, including memory, muscle memory, skills, and language, for different assignments. It stars Eliza Dushku, Tahmoh Penikett, etc.
	Parks and Recreation	Premiere: April 9, 2009 on NBC Parks and Recreation is a comedy series featuring Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones, detailing the day-to day events in local government as Leslie Knope (Poehler) tries to turn a vacant construction pit into a park. This mockumentary-style show is produced by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur.
	Sanctuary	Premiere: October 3rd, 2008 on the Sci-Fi Channel Sanctuary is a television series set in a world in which monsters move freely, both threatening and threatened. It stars Amanda Tapping, Robin Dunne, Emilie Ullerup and Christopher Heyerdahl.
	Star Wars: The Clone Wars	Premiere: October 3rd, 2008 on Cartoon Network Star Wars: The Clone Wars 3D CGI animated television series created by Lucasfilm Animation and CGCG Inc. It stars James Arnold Taylor, Matt Lanter, Anthony Daniels, Seth Green, and Christopher Lee.

	Big Bang Theory	Premiere: September 22, 2008 on CBS The Big Bang Theory, by CBS, is a sit-com created and executive produced by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady. Two 20-something prodigies are roommates who work together at Caltech. They live across the hall from a blonde waitress with showbusiness aspirations, and their geekiness is contrasted to her naïveté and common sense.
	Cold Case	Premiere: September 28, 2008 on CBS Cold Case is an hour-long crime drama that focuses on a Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide squad that investigates murders that have gone unsolved for years. The series focusses on Det. Lily Rush, played by Kathryn Morris.
	Dirty Sexy Money	Premiere: October 1, 2008 on ABC Nick George, (Peter Krause), is an idealistic lawyer who is forced into becoming the wealthy Darlings' personal lawyer, allowing him the money to be an altruistic do-gooder in exchange for being pulled him into the dubious doings of the Darling clan.
	Ghost Whisperer	Premiere: October 3, 2008 on CBS Melinda Gordon has the gift of seeing and speaking to ghosts, and works against her half-brother, Gabriel Lawrence, to help the spirits get to "the light".
	Gossip Girl	Premiere: September 1, 2008 on The CW The popular teen drama based on the novel series of the same name, written by Cecily von Ziegesar. Gossip Girl revolves around the lives of elite socialite young adults growing up on New York City's Upper East Side while dealing with sex, drugs, jealousy, and other teenage issues.
	Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice	Premiere: September 25, 2008 and October 1, 2008 on ABC In Grey's Anatomy, Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) is a surgical resident at Seattle Grace Hospital in Seattle. The Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning American primetime television medical drama features Grey and her coworkers as they learn to be Doctors as well as people.
	Heroes	Premiere: September 22, 2008 on NBC The science fiction serial drama where people all over the world are discovering that they have gained abilities far beyond those of normal humans.
	How I Met Your Mother	Premiere: September 22, 2008 on CBS The continuing story of the comedic events that led to Ted Mosby meeting his wife, as he tells it to his son and daughter.
	House	Premiere: September 16, 2008 on Fox The medical drama from Fox which stars English actor Hugh Laurie as Dr. Gregory House, a maverick medical genius who heads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey.
	Law & Order	Premiere: November 5, 2008 on NBC The original series from the Law & Order franchise starts its nineteenth season.
	Law & Order: SVU	Premiere: September 23, 2008 on NBC The police procedural series which follows the Detectives from the NYPD's Special Victims Unit. SVU starts its tenth (!) season with Christopher Meloni, Mariska Hargitay, Richard Belzer, Ice-T, Dann Florek, and Michaela McManus.
	Law & Order: Criminal Intent	Premiere: TBA on USA Major Case Squad Detectives Goren, Eames and Wheeler return for their eighth season. This season introduces a very special newcomer: Jeff Goldblum.
	Life	Premiere: September 29, 2008 on NBC The drama series that stars Damian Lewis as Charlie Crews, a detective who was recently released from prison after serving twelve years for a crime he did not commit.
	Lost	Premiere: January 2009 on ABC An Emmy Award and Golden Globe-winning serial drama that follows the lives of plane crash survivors on a mysterious tropical island.
	My Name Is Earl	Premiere: September 25, 2008 on NBC The Emmy Award-winning sitcom starring Jason Lee as Earl J. Hickey, a petty crook who turns his life around after learning about Karma from Carson Daily. Armed with a list of the dastardly deeds he's performed in his lifetime, he's out to make up for them all, one at a time.
	NCIS	Premiere: Tuesday September 23, 2008 on CBS An hour-long police procedural which follows the work of a Naval Criminal Investigative Service Major Case Response Team led by Special Agent Leroy Gibbs.
	The Office	Premiere: September 25, 2008 on NBC A Half hour sitcom loosely based on the British series of the same name created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. The show focuses on the day-to-day lives of the employees of the Scranton branch of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company shot in a documentary format.
	One Tree Hill	Premiere: September 1, 2008 on The CW Two rival half-brothers Lucas Scott (played by Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan Scott (played by James Lafferty) live in Tree Hill, a small town in North Carolina, and deal with the rivalry between their basketball teams and families.
	Prison Break	Premiere: September 1, 2008 on Fox The story of a man who was sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit and his brother's elaborate plan to help him escape his death sentence.
	Reaper	Premiere: TBA on The CW Sam Oliver (Bret Harrison) has been tricked into becoming the Devil's bounty hunter for souls that have escaped from hell. Alongside his two slacker companions and the girl he's always had feelings for, he uses different powers and vessels to track, trick, and trap the unwilling souls.
	Smallville	Premiere: September 18, 2008 on The CW A tale about young Clark Kent's life in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, during the years before he became Superman.
	South Park	Premiere: October 8, 2008 on Comedy Central Everyone's favorite animated, cussing fourth graders return for a thirteenth season in their quiet little red-neck po-dunk white-trash mountain town.
	Ugly Betty	Premiere: September 25, 2008 on ABC Ugly Betty is the story of Betty Suárez, a good-hearted young Latina from Queens, New York, brave but sorely lacking in social skills, self-confidence, fashion sense, and aesthetic polish. Betty is suddenly thrust into a different world when she is hired as a personal assistant at Mode, a fashion magazine headquartered in Manhattan and part of the publishing empire of the wealthy Bradford Meade.
